Carl Duisberg Centren regularly runs professional training and cooperation programs for delegations from abroad. On this page you will find an overview of our current programs.
As part of the Partnering in Business with Germany programme, the Carl Duisberg Centren will host eighteen managers from Georgia and Ukraine, who will act as business ambassadors between August 19 and 30, 2024. Through the programme, the Georgian and Ukranian participating companies internalize the “Made in Germany” mindset and the German companies find qualified business partners.
When it comes to international business, there are few countries that offer as much as India. According to the World Economic Outlook, in 2024 India is already the 3rd largest GDP (Purchasing Power Parity) in the world, having taken over Germany and Japan. Take the opportunity now to work with Indian companies and benefit from the strong synergy effects that lead to a win-win situation.
Partnering in Business with Germany is an instrument of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) to promote foreign trade. The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH has been commissioned to implement the Programme on behalf of the BMWK.
Carl Duisberg Centren is seeking companies that can offer job shadowing placements in the Düsseldorf area for highly qualified Ukrainian professionals. The job shadowing is part of the PG Special Initiative Ukraine, an initiative of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK) to support displaced executives from Ukraine who are temporarily staying in Germany.
Between June 5th and 16th, 2023, Carl Duisberg Professional Training Programs hosted a delegation of 16 participants from China. The participants are taking part in the Manager Training Programme of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and are managing directors, board members or owners of their respective companies.
From April 24 to May 5 2023, Carl Duisberg Professional Training Programs hosted a delegation of 16 participants from Chile in Germany. All participants are general managers, board members or owners of their respective companies. The participants represented small companies from various industries, including mining, water and wastewater management, recycling, IT, wood, furniture manufacturing, food production and mechanical engineering.
The Manager Training Programme is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). The programme allows participants to experience German business culture, visit German companies and expand their network through direct contact with potential German business partners.
