As a graduate economist, my primary interest lies in international business relations. In addition, I am both a passionate networker and bridge builder, striving to support German SMEs with programs to initiate business worldwide and represent Germany as an internationally oriented business location.

Our programs focus on countries such as China, Malaysia, Mexico, India, the Russian Federation, South Africa and Iran. In cooperation with our representatives in China and Malaysia, we implement various educational programs in the field of higher education and vocational training.

Why do I enjoy working at PTP?
Being able to connect with managers from across the globe, I am in a perfect position to constantly gain new insights into topics of the global world economy and into different working and living cultures, which I consider an enriching experience.

And, with an ever growing number of specialist topics from management, economics, technology, didactics, education and associations, politics, law and technology, the daily work remains fascinating.

What defines me?
As a conceptual designer with a structured approach to my job, I like to work my way through delicate content in order to create training courses focussing on subjects that are currently in demand in the market. I am particularly interested in topics such as renewable energies, automotive and general education.

I am unbeatable in project management for handling tenders. An approaching deadline does not trouble me. In the acquisition process, I present our work, our training content and our special Carl Duisberg spirit with great passion.

My talent for writing and my didactic-psychological knowledge as a graduate teacher of English and German language and literature, help me a lot in designing the right training for each target group.

As a team player and inquisitive person, I always think outside the box and enjoy working with colleagues from different departments and countries.

What defines me?
I came to Germany as a foreign student 27 years ago. I have felt on my own how people from different cultural areas think and behave differently. Interculturality interested me and motivated me to work in this field.

As a translator, I stood in front of visitors from many regions of the world at various international trade fairs. There were many opportunities to negotiate and communicate with them, which solidified my sensitivity to cultural differences. As a language teacher, I taught not only languages, but also related values and thought patterns, which strengthened my ability to reflect on many intercultural contexts. As a project coordinator for international projects, I strived to find solutions that were beneficial for all parties involved. The opportunity to be sent to China by German companies as a trainer to train their sales staff opened my eyes to intercultural confrontations in business reality.

I am interested in people, their backgrounds and their further developments.

Why do I enjoy working at PTP?
This is where the world comes to me, which means that we receive many visitors and experts from many nations and disciplines in a short time. The college in the PTP and in the entire Carl-Duisberg-Center also represents the diversity of cultures excellently. The tasks are diverse and varied. You can finish work after a long day and look forward to the next day!

Education is an essential commodity that has to be safeguarded on a daily basis. Organisation and transparency serve as my essential guidelines in international project management.

What defines me?
I find the cooperation in an international framework to be an inspiration and incentive, even after more than 30 years of working in international training projects. I am particularly interested in Eastern Europe, Russia and Asia, where I have lived for a while.

I like to bring the participants of our programs closer to German culture. Thus, I also benefit from the culture of the target countries and gain a deeper understanding of their culture.

My original training as a teacher motivated me to constantly search for optimizing the educational potential of training or coaching programs. Yet, I also enjoy the creation of training concepts and designing international tenders.

I couldn't imagine a more versatile and inspiring place to work.
