Partnering in Business with Germany is an instrument of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) to promote foreign trade. The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH has been commissioned to implement the Programme on behalf of the BMWK.
The aim of "Partnering in Business with Germany" is to successfully initiate business between SMEs from developing and emerging countries and Germany. Every year, around 1000 managers from all over the world are prepared for entering the German market and put in contact with German companies that are interested in opening up new foreign markets. This partnership-based approach leads to the development of long-term business partnerships and a global network of internationally active SMEs.
Carl Duisberg Centren runs the Partnership Program for Business Cooperation on behalf of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) (German Society for International Cooperation). Themed "Partnering in Business in Germany", the program prepares managers specifically for business partnerships with German companies – with success for both sides. The program includes practical training, company visits and individual discussions with potential business partners.
The participants are middle and senior level managers who are looking for German business partners for specific business projects. The managers have a good command of English and come from different sectors and companies. If your company is already present in one of the partner countries or would like to expand its business activities there and you are interested in cooperating with the company, you can contact the program participants via Carl Duisberg Centren.
In 2024, Carl Duisberg Centren will work with five business delegations from Latin America, Asia and Africa, whose aim is to position themselves as a reliable business partner for German companies.

Previous German programme participants have concluded supply contracts and other agreements worth more than 100 million euros. You too can forge new cooperative ventures and at the same time secure jobs in Germany – especially in the capital goods sector.
German SMEs in particular can benefit from the programme. They are given the opportunity to establish contacts with companies with potential and thus create the foundation for future cooperation. This opens the doors to an economic area that has developed extremely dynamically in recent years.
German quality is held in high esteem around the world. Direct business contacts increase the level of awareness of your products and improve your sales opportunities in this region.
Gain access to worldwide business networks and invite the delegation or individual delegation members to visit your company.
Carl Duisberg Centren organizes B2B cooperation exchanges for companies interested in making the initial business contact with selected countries.
