As part of the Partnering in Business with Germany programme, the Carl Duisberg Centren will host eighteen managers from Georgia and Ukraine between August 19 and 30, 2024.
As part of the Partnering in Business with Germany programme, the Carl Duisberg Centren will host eleven managers from Western, Eastern and Central Asia (five executives from Azerbaijan, three from Mongolia, two from Uzbekistan and one from Turkmenistan) between November 12 and November 25, 2023.
On behalf of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) the Carl Duisberg Centren gGmbH (CDC) was commissioned to arrange a one-week training programme for 16 Indian master trainers between October 22 and October 28, 2023.

Between June 5th and 16th, 2023, Carl Duisberg Professional Training Programs hosted a delegation of 16 participants from China. The participants are taking part in the Manager Training Programme of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and are managing directors, board members or owners of their respective companies.
From April 24 to May 5 2023, Carl Duisberg Professional Training Programs hosted a delegation of 16 participants from Chile in Germany. All participants are general managers, board members or owners of their respective companies. The participants represented small companies from various industries, including mining, water and wastewater management, recycling, IT, wood, furniture manufacturing, food production and mechanical engineering.
The Manager Training Programme is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). The programme allows participants to experience German business culture, visit German companies and expand their network through direct contact with potential German business partners.
Since 2020, our manager training programme has been virtual and interactive with a lot of personal exchange. Our participants, who come from Chile, Mexico, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, China and South Africa, were very enthusiastic; they experienced an unforgettable live training where they benefited from the content as well as the team spirit.
After years of experience, what used to be everyday business under normal conditions suddenly became a completely new challenge in 2020, the year we faced Corona. From August to October 2020, the first program with managers from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia and Kyrgyzstan took place in a completely new, virtual format.

The company's product range includes special adhesives and sealants, technical sprays as well as high-performance assembly pastes and greases for all areas of industry – from production, repair and maintenance to servicing. Another field of activity of WEICON is the development and distribution of stripping tools.
How can sustainability support business when it comes to the process of transforming the economy? This question is on the minds of experts all around the world. And what can China, for example, learn from Germany in terms of the Green Economy? This was the topic of a presentation held by Carl Duisberg Centren in cooperation with the Institut der Deutschen Wirtschaft (IW).
The capacity building program has been conceived to make the industrial sector in the region more sustainable and environmentally compatible through structural adjustment. The training program for Chinese experts and managers from the coal, coal chemical, foundry and mechanical engineering sectors were conducted in Jincheng and in Germany.
We are starting another 10-week virtual manager training programme “Fit for Partnership with Germany” with 20 managers from South Africa. This time, the focus will be on the SME sectors of South Africa and will include plant construction for industry and mining as well as food production.
