Carl Duisberg Centren runs the Partnership Programme for Business Cooperation on behalf of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) (German Society for International Cooperation). The Partnership Programme for Business Cooperation forms part of the German foreign trade policy and has 17 partner countries in Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America and North and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Themed "Partnering in Business in Germany", the programme prepares managers specifically for business partnerships with German companies – with success for both sides. The programme includes practical training, company visits and individual discussions with potential business partners.
Partnering in Business with Germany is an instrument of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) to promote foreign trade. The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH has been commissioned to implement the programme on behalf of the BMWK.
The participants and their goals
The participants are middle and senior level managers who are looking for German business partners for specific business projects. The managers have a good command of English and come from different sectors and companies. If your company is already present in Africa or would like to expand its business activities there and you are interested in cooperating with companies on the African continent, you can initiate contact with the programme participants through Carl Duisberg Centren.
