Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are among the most dynamic economic regions in Central Asia. Both countries are increasingly investing in the modernization of their industries, the expansion of infrastructure, and the diversification of their economies. While Kazakhstan, as a resource-rich country, offers particular potential in the energy sector, mechanical engineering, and logistics, Uzbekistan is increasingly emerging as an important hub for manufacturing, the textile industry, and agriculture.
Attractive business opportunities are opening up for German companies: there is a high demand for modern technology, expertise, and high-quality products. At the same time, both countries actively promote foreign investment and international cooperation. The region’s strategic location between Europe and Asia also makes it an important hub along new trade routes.
Against this backdrop, economic partnerships with companies from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are becoming increasingly important.
As part of the “Partnering in Business with Germany” program, Carl Duisberg GmbH will host a business delegation from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in Munich and Cologne from May 18 to June 5, 2026.
Initiated by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE), the program is designed to facilitate targeted business relationships between German companies and companies from developing and emerging economies. The goal is to establish sustainable international partnerships and facilitate access to new markets.
The participating specialists and executives will receive targeted preparation for collaboration with German companies. Components of the program include:
This combination enables concrete and sustainable business development between international and German companies.
The delegation represents various industries in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan:
The participating companies are specifically seeking to engage with German partners to expand their business activities internationally. The focus is on modernizing technologies, expanding production capacities, and developing new, marketable products.
For German companies, this presents concrete opportunities for collaboration: The delegation is actively seeking technology providers, suppliers, distribution partners, and investors. Joint projects, including joint ventures, are also expressly encouraged.
In addition, many of the participants are planning to enter the German and European markets and are preparing to meet international standards and certifications. This opens up an early opportunity to position yourself as a reliable partner in new markets.
Take advantage of this opportunity to engage directly with business leaders who have decision-making authority and explore concrete opportunities for collaboration:
