From June 5 to 16, 2023, a 16-member delegation from China was a guest of the Carl Duisberg Professional Training Programs.
The participants took part in the Manager Training Programme of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Action (BMWK) and are managing directors, board members or owners of their respective companies. Participants represent small businesses from a variety of industries, including food production, English as a Second Language (ESL), textiles, furniture manufacturing, and logistics.
During their stay in Germany, participants visited a variety of companies, from global law firms to metal processing and tool and die companies. Participants also attended a series of business-to-business (B2B) meetings, where they found new business partners and launched new projects. A total of 33 B2B contacts were made. The highlight was the signing of a cooperation agreement worth 1.2 million euros.
The stay in Germany enabled the participants to improve their understanding of German culture and working methods, learn best practices for successful cooperation with German companies, and strengthen their relationships with potential business partners.
